Frame
0189x
Quoted, written up, and never built. Sid struck NOT CONFIRMED diagonally across the sheet in pencil and wrote ‘to be confirmed by letter’ against Other Details; no letter came, and the number went to Ken Cordon's frame on 10 January 1989 instead. It is filed here as 0189x rather than given a number of its own, because 0189 is what the sheet says. An export order, to a customer in North Carolina, for a canary yellow Cinelli-crowned racing frame with Campagnolo Super Record ends: the only frame in the register whose whole existence is a piece of paper.
