Terms, refunds and privacy

Who you are buying from
David Standard, an individual, not a company. This site is a family archive of Sid Standard Cycles and the prints pay for keeping it going. There is no shop, no staff and no warehouse; orders are placed with a printer by hand, usually within a few days. Contact is by email at david.standard@icloud.com, and a postal address is available on request before you order.
What things cost
Prices include VAT where any applies and UK postage. Nothing is added at checkout.

Payment is taken through PayPal, by PayPal balance or by card. Your card details are never seen by this site.
The charity share
Where a product says an amount goes to the Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance, that amount is sent on from every sale of it. This is a personal pledge rather than a formal fundraising arrangement, and the air ambulance has not endorsed these products or this site.
When it arrives
Prints are made to order. Expect roughly two weeks in the UK, and get in touch if it has been longer than thirty days — at that point you are entitled to cancel and have your money back in full.
Cancelling and refunds
You can cancel for any reason within fourteen days of the print arriving, and you do not have to give a reason. Email and send it back; once it is back the full amount including the original postage is refunded within fourteen days. Return postage is yours unless the print arrived damaged, wrong or late.
If it arrives damaged or is not what was ordered, that is on me: send a photograph and it is replaced or refunded, and you are not out of pocket for the return.
Strictly a made-to-order print may be exempt from that fourteen-day right. It is offered anyway.
What happens to your details
Buying: PayPal passes over your name, email address and delivery address. Those are stored here to fulfil the order and to answer questions about it afterwards, and the delivery address is passed to the printer so it can be posted to you. They are not used for marketing and not sold or shared with anyone else. Ask and they are deleted, except where a record of the sale has to be kept.
Visiting: there is no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. The only cookie this site sets is the one that keeps me logged in to the admin screen.
Telling us about a frame: what you send through the claim form — your name, your email and any photographs — is stored so it can be published against that frame, and nothing appears publicly until it has been read and approved.
The worksheets themselves
The sheets are published as they were written, which is how an owner recognises their own frame. Most are more than thirty years old and some carry what was then a customer’s address or telephone number. If you are on a sheet here and would rather not be, say so and it comes down the same day, no reason needed. That applies to the register, the gallery and anything printed from it.
What is sold is a high-resolution print of a worksheet, not the original document. The originals stay in the archive.
If something goes wrong
Email first and it will be sorted out. Nothing here affects your statutory rights, and this agreement is governed by the law of England and Wales.
