The shop

The workshop

The jig, the hearth and the wheel stand behind the shop. Every frame in the register was brazed in this room.

Sid

Out of the shop and on the bike. Sid rode with the CTC and later became president of Beeston Road Club, and most of these were taken a long way from Chilwell Road.

Since

Sid died in 2003. The shop is still open, Beeston put his name on a tram, and in 2022 a mural went up on a wall in the town.

The plaque on the shop
