Taken on 30 December 1985, the day after the year’s last. Deposit £50. The town is abbreviated to two initials in the address block and has not been expanded here. Sutton Bonington is written out in full on 1986 later the same year, which makes S.B. most likely that village, though it is not written out here.

Brazed on: Gear lever clip pip, all brazings for 6 speed with a cable stop for the changer, three guides on the top tube, TA bottle cage bosses, chain hook. No gear lever bosses, no h’bar control eyes, no pump pegs, no centre-pull brake bridge.
Finish: Post Office red enamel, gold seat tube band 10", gold head, lugs lined, old type transfers
