A touring bicycle rather than a racing one: cantilevers, a triple chainset, mudguard clearance and Blackburn carriers, with the customer supplying his own fittings to be brazed on. Deposit £20. The colour went on the type of crown rule first, was struck out, and written again in the right box. A telephone number is written into the address block and is not recorded here.

Wheels: 700c, HPs (sprints struck out), with mudguard clearance
Brazed on: Allen key seat lug, gear lever clip pip, two Campagnolo tunnels, three guides on the top tube, centre-pull brake bridge, TA bottle cage bosses, and the customer’s own brazed-on fittings including Blackburn racks. No lamp boss, no pump pegs.
Finish: Ruby flamboyant, lugs lined gold, varnish standard Superbe transfers
