The frame number is written above an earlier number struck out, which reads most nearly as “8146”; the angles line gives 72° against H with the S left without a figure, and the top tube carries the sheet's own question mark, a fainter “20¼” added beside it and a fainter “22¼” beside the forks. The leading figure of the forks entry sits in the gutter shadow and could as easily be 1½ as ½. A telephone number follows the address in the customer block, and a signature runs across the foot of the page.
