Filled in by the customer himself in block capitals, and by some distance the most exacting sheet in the register: no dimples on the chainstays at all but enough clearance for a 42T inner ring, for a TA five pin professional double chainring. The FRAME No. box was filled in "ANY I.D. NUMBER" and struck through, with 82109 written above. No date on the sheet. Furthest from Beeston of any frame in the register.

The same frame in the bound ledger
Through 1982 the workshop kept two records of an order: a line in the bound book, and the printed sheet above. Both give this frame the same number and the same date. The book is the shorter of the two and the only one written in the shop itself.
