The sheet carries no year: the date received is “7 Nov” only. Delivery was promised at “6 weeks approx.” with a £20-00 deposit, and the main finish is simply “Later.” The surname is read from a fast hand as Roulstone but could be formed otherwise, and the first word on the seatstays line, read here as “Duolape”, is uncertain. The brakes entry most plausibly reads “105 Short Allen Key”, though the third figure is a bare stroke. A telephone number follows the town on the address line, and the angles, chainstay and fork rake boxes are left empty.
