“853” is written across the top corner, and a telephone number sits beside the frame number. The word after the top-tube figure reads “Sleping”, presumably sloping; the head angle is written over a correction and could as easily be 74°, and the fork-rake line is scribbled out entirely. Delivery promised 12/14 weeks with a deposit ticked. The attached page is a pencil sketch headed “Steeper seat angle” with “sloped front to rear 19½”, “MORE UPRIGHT” along the frame drawing, and jottings for the build: Ultegra/Dura Ace 18 speed, “Aero Carbon seat pin”, “Multi Adjust Head/Stem”, “Aero flat forks?” and “Wheels SPINERGY?”.
