The model line reads “Racing as 0692” and ditto marks run down the lugs, top tube, ends and seatstay boxes, so most of the geometry simply repeats that earlier frame. The fraction after the 16" chainstay figure is scribbled out beyond reading. “2972” is written under DEPOSIT RECEIVED, and a telephone number sits above the frame number. The figure replacing the struck printed speed could be other than 18, though 18 is the best reading. Delivery promised 12 weeks.
