CANCELLED, written diagonally across the whole sheet in a hand a good deal larger than the rest of it. Nothing was ever entered against date received, delivery promised or deposit, and the finish was still to be decided, so this was called off early — an order taken and abandoned before a tube was cut. The number appears to have gone unused rather than being reissued.

Finish: Not chosen — “later” is written on the main finish rule
Customer: Gareth Gimson, Barton Road; the town is given only as two initials
