Open the full sheetThe order sheet, as it was filled in, including whatever was written in the margins.

Frame

1851

Untraced

“Columbus S/L” is written above the printed heading and a six-figure number, most likely a telephone number, sits in the top left corner. The frame number box first held a number reading “841027”, struck out and replaced with “1851”. Delivery was promised “towards end Jan” and a deposit of £20-00 taken. The size is written twice, the first fraction blotted and then rewritten as 24⅛"; the main finish is given only as “To Follow”.
