Frame
2851
A track frame: “None” is written against brakes, “No drillings” against the crown, and the whole braze-on tick-list down the right of the sheet is cancelled with a single wavy line. The frame number box first held a number reading “841028”, struck out and replaced with “2851”. Delivery was promised “End Jan”; the deposit box holds a date, “8.12.84”, rather than an amount. A six-figure number, most likely a telephone number, is written in the top left corner. The same customer returned in August 1985 for the road frame recorded on another sheet in this batch.
