Frame

841020

Untraced

The date carries no year, so none is recorded; delivery was promised “FRI 19”. The town is written only as “L.E.”, most likely Long Eaton but recorded as written, and a telephone number is jotted in the margin beside the address block. Small ticks sit beside the size, top tube, chainstay, fork-rake and B.B. lines, as if checked off during the build. The surname is read from a fast hand and could as easily be Ruden.
