Workshop sheet for Superbe frame 8707
Open the full sheetThe order sheet, as it was filled in, including whatever was written in the margins.

Frame

8707

Untraced

Written diagonally across the angles and stays boxes is “Spec as Sid's TOURER”, and the top tube line likewise reads “as Sid's” with “longish” struck out: the frame was to copy Sid's own touring machine. The date is read as 18 March '86, which sits oddly a year ahead of the neighbouring sheets in the 87-series; the final digit could be a slip for '87, so no certain date is given. A telephone number is written in the left margin beside the address, and the address gives the district only as “W.B.”, presumably West Bridgford. Delivery promised at 6 weeks with a £50 deposit taken; the main finish was still “to follow”.
