Frame
8717
“COLUMBUS SL TUBING.” is written across the head of the sheet — a departure from the batch's usual 531. The size was worked over twice, 20½" struck, 21" struck, before settling back at 20½", and a queried “74?°” sits above the head angle. The main finish line only says “See B Jackson Illustration”; no illustration survives with the sheet in this batch. Deposit £30-00, no delivery promise entered. The surname is read from a fast hand and could as easily be Lazzati; a telephone number is written on the address line.
