Frame

8805

Untraced

A telephone number is written into the address block and “POST CODE.” is jotted at the foot of the sheet, a detail evidently still to be chased. The attachment page is the build list, most lines struck through in grey as they were dealt with: Nouvo Tipo tubs (£25) ticked, Nutrak Beltguard, stainless double-butted spokes, Cinelli stem (£12) and bars, Shimano 105 Biopace triple with SIS, a 6-speed 13–30 block, Deore cantilevers with 105 levers, Madison G.11, PD100 pedals with clips and straps (“Large” struck for “Med”, “Red”), white Bike Ribbon, an SR Laprade pin, Esge narrow guards (“wide” written then struck), a Blackburn red rear carrier and a red Clarks cable set. The rim entry on that list reads “MA3”, though the frame sheet era would suggest the MA family generally; it is transcribed as written. The word after “45°” on the brake eyes line is a fast scrawl and is read as “underneath”.
