“531 DB. tubing” and “27. wheels” are written across the head of the sheet; delivery was promised at 6–8 weeks with a £40 deposit taken. The attachment page is a pencil build list for the whole machine, ticked off line by line: Weinmann 605 brakes, Stronglight 99 48×36, Sedisport chain, a 6-speed narrow 13–28 block, gold ESGE guards, a Cyclone Mk II ensemble, SR Laprade pillar, Madison G11 saddle, SR Randonneur bars on a 70mm SR stem with black tape, and 27″ wheels built from Super Champion 58 rims on Nuovo Tipo hubs with stainless DB spokes; pedals were first marked “customer's own”, struck through in favour of “To supply”. The main finish is “Ruby Flam” with “as Sid's” written alongside. No town appears in the address block, whose second line carries a six-figure number that reads as a telephone number.
